Was looking around at the local dealer today, considering a 16 Ultra Classic that was there. I had spoken with the sales guy a couple times at the HOG club meeting a week before. He ushered me over to this new 2020 Ultra Limited that they had marked down today. To me this was close enough(within a few thousand) to the used bike prices for 16/17 and 18 models for close consideration........I bought it. FLHTK Ultra Limited. Would this markdown sway your decision to buy if you were in the market?
Nope, it wouldn't. While I did see a 21 I liked , it was either an Electra glide or a street deluxe don't catch which I wouldn't buy another new one just because of the extra hefty software and nanny stuff on anything 2020 and up you can't op out of anymore. Suspect this is why older models are holding resale so well right now.
