I am truly impressed with Ultimate Seats customer service. This is the company that makes aftermarket seats (very comfy). There is a metal sleeve inside the seat that accepts a metal post for the backrest. The backrest basically slips into the seat. The metal sleeves weld broke. Ive owned a few of these seats and this is the first problem I have ever had. I called them. Immediately after I explained the issue, they told me to hold on. A few seconds later, they asked that I check my email. I did have one in my inbox with a prepaid Fedex shipping label. They explained what I needed to do ... basically just bring it to Fedex. I did so. They got the seat on Wednesday. Fedex just dropped off the repaired seat. This is the way to do customer service and to certainly gain more of my business. A+++ customer service. This is refreshing and extremely rare.
Their product is exceptional also .. well-made and very comfortable
Check them out !
The first Ultimate seat I got had a bent tab and I couldn't slide the front of the seat under the tank. I called them and they mailed me another right away. By that time I had managed to bend the tab enough but it took a lot of strength and work to do it. Still, top marks to Ultimate.
I knew the guy who started Ultimate Seats when he first got going. Unfortunately, I can't remember his name. At any rate, he was a straight shooter then, and it seems the company still is.
I agree with all of the above. I had Ultimate seats on my last three bikes and their customer service is second to none. GREAT seats, too. Better than any other aftermarket seat.
