I rarely get to ride to work, but last week, I was working out near my house so I called my GF who also works at the same company, met her at the house, dropped off the work truck and we broughtourbikes in. I think half the people in the office went out to look them over. I Heard "Nice Bike" for three days. Even got a "Sweet Ride" from the boss.[8D]
I was talking to my boss today and out of the blue asked me - is that your Harley at the end of the lot - to which I responded "Yes." He said "Wow - I got out of the car today and I had some time so I walked over to look at it - it is really a beautiful bike." I sadi "Thank you." and went about my business.
Anyone else ever get compliments like that? No flaming - but what I mean is this person has seen this bike out there and he was the last person I thought would comment on it.
Some background: I take 2 lane roads through corn fields to get to work - not a lot of people interaction - but great riding.....
I guess you haven't gotten the pinkslip yet, huh? Come Monday, you will find out that you've been replaced by a 20 something year old, working for less pay, with less experience and happensto ride a Suzuki.

My boss is getting rid of the 20 Year old college summer help student tomorrow - not because he has to go back to school but because he fell asleep twice at his desk, lacks initiative, has a huge lazy *** bone in him and when given simple tasks chooses to ignore them. He worked 40 hours a week in an air-conditioned office - had no one bother him, had his own computer, phone and key, he was making $11.20/hr to start with. Heck - when I started working I made just over $3/hr!!!! I hope this is not the fate of our future workforce...[&:]
I work for the City and our Mayor thinks it's the coolest thing that one of his female employees rides a motorcycle! Our Fire Chief rides as well and he stops by just to talk motorcycles with me. It really is funny, the reactions I get when people find out I ride a Harley.
My shift manager goes out to look at my bike every night at work. He loves it. A lot of us ride, he does not. He wants to, but has to many 'irons in the fire' to get a bike. I love it. Heck, if the weather looks like it is getting bad, he checks to see if I rode the bike. If he sees it in the parking garage, he lets me cut out early.
