Default New rider how do you grip throttle and brake

New rider here. Thing I can't get too comfortable with is throttle grip. What do you guys reccomend. Grip throttle with all fingers then roll off and apply brakes? Hover fingers over brakes at all times? Etc.?

Kinda hard to roll full throttle with any fingers hovering the brake lever. LOL! Unless you're an experienced stunt rider. Sounds like you need to take a class.

Son, U NEED 2 TAKE A RIDING COURSE.

I Generally use my trigger finger on the front brake, and the remaining 3 on the throttle. This is anytime I'm riding around traffic or think I am about to encounter any possible interference, this is how I ride.
I also have 2 or 3 fingers over the clutch, ready to disengage in a heartbeat.

This is ALL stuff U MUST be comfortable with, or you WILL make a poor decision when called upon in an emergency situation.
Again take a riding course, or buy a dirt bike ,and PRACTICE,PRACTICE,PRACTICE..

I grip the throttle with my hands and use my fingers on the brake. Now for a new learner, keep your wrist down below your knuckles so you do not give it much throttle.

Get a MSF or other sanctioned motorcycle safety course under your belt and then start to enjoy the ride.

Don’t overthink it. Hand on throttle and when you need to brake, open your fingers and squeeze brake. You’ll automatically roll off the throttle to squeeze the brake. Yes, a class is recommended
