Got my Schott jackets back today from them with altered sleeves and removed the buckles on the sides. The fit is perfect. All around. When I am not on a bike. As soon as I get on the bike, **** goes south. Back is riding up where it catches the edge of my helmet in the back, and front rides up a little and makes me look like I have DDs.
I dont know if I am slouching or not because when I sit up straight up, its much better.
Will this soften a little with time? I would HATE to have it shortened. It would be way too short. Right now, then I am standing, its just above or even with my belt.
If your sitting on the bike like you are doing abdominal crunches, you have discovered the problem. The other issue may be that the jacket is just a little too loose on you.
Sit up straight. Its better for your posture in long run.
Try folding that 1.5" under in front and see if that helps. If it does, then you have your answer. Motorcycle jackets are short for a reason, they're made for sitting.
Thats a good idea. I am going to try it. Maybe have them install dual zipper so I can unzip few inches from the bottom?
I cant go any smaller for my chest. Its a 46 size. Its loose in the stomach area. I can feel tons of room there when sitting. I either have it tapered down more, which this is slimmer fit already or park my car in McDonalds drive through for a month or so

A dual zipper may help. But you could also try softening agents to help get it to relax. Or just fold it under when you ride. Most my jackets seem to shrink.....
I had a leather jacket made & it was pretty stiff for the first 3 years. I wore it a lot, even when I wasn't riding. I put conditioner on it every 6 months. Finally it's starting to loosen up.
Prevents my jacket from riding up and will keep the jacket in place in case of an off from the bike. The kit comes with both sides of the zipper so you can sew it into any jacket. Revit jackets come with the zipper already installed.
