My wife has a white Harley mesh jacket that helps her keep cool. I wear one of those fishing shirts, or short sleeve T with SPF50 sleeves. I also have thin gloves that are made for fishing. (also SPF50) I do put sunscreen on my neck/face. And some SPF lip stuff.

I got the sleeves. They work OK, but a 100 percent cotton long sleeve button shirt works best. Just leave the front open. I hate slathering on sunscreen too.

I just throw on a light long sleeve button up shirt.

I like it. The Columbia fishing shirts are vented, so they aren't too hot either.
