I currently have an HD mesh/leather jacket that I really like, and a Joe Rocket brown leather that's ok. I'm looking for a new jacket that offers me some versatility to ride in humid hot, down to 50 degrees or so. Ideally, there would be vents and removable waterproof liner. I'm guessing something textile. Armored would be better, but don't want to look like a power ranger, and the ADV type jackets tend to be 3/4 length, which I'm not a fan of.
When I tour, I'm finding that my current jackets aren't flexible enough to cover the various temp/weather conditions I run into.
Check out the jackets offered by Revit. They are the company that makes the H-D ADV jacket and pants. They offer many different styles of coats that are exactly what you're describing. I personally have the Sand 4 coat and pant which are ADV style with removable rain liner and insulation liner. I also have a Torque 2 mesh coat with rain liner. Both coats have elbow and shoulder armor with a pocket for a back protector which is sold separately.
Dont laugh - I have a Triumph touring jacket (my other bike is a Triumph). Unless someone is looking at your liner. its not branded anywhere else. LOTS of pockets, zip out liner etc. Too heavy for a summer jacket but its my favorite. Best thing is, I got in on Fleabay from a dealer for 125.00 on a blow out. ALL Triumph jackets yo need to go up a size from the HD stuff.
I caught this HD jacket on sale last year, and it's my favorite of any I've ever had. It's good down to about 50 degrees, and has venting. It's too hot here in Bama in the summer for any type of jacket but if I had to wear one this would be it. Be advised that it does fit a little snug so if you're between two sizes go for the larger one.

Greatly appreciated
Look at the Tourmaster Jackets. I have a 3/4 one and a waist high Air Mesh which has a waterproof liner and a zip-out thermal liner too. It has internal pockets for cell phone and documents, glasses, etc.
I have bought 2 of these over the years. The style changes slightly time to time, but the concept is the same. Rain/wind liner that zips in/out. Insulated vest that zips in/out, or ride it with no liner at all. It's armored and mesh, with vents in it. I wear it year round. Adding or removing liners is easy. If you order one, you will probably need to go UP one size. I've had to.
Definately look outside HD. Revzilla is a great source. Check out what the adventure riders are using. That's where I got the best suggestions for gloves, boots, socks and dry bags.
There is somes awesome products out there from the companies that specialize in it.
Check out Joe Rocket Atomic, open up all the vents and it cools down nicely, not much hotter than mesh (I've used it in Florida many times). Batten down the hatches and it can tolerate at least a little bit of weather. Supposedly they've improved the waterproofing in the latest versions, I'll believe it when I see it, might want to bring a rain jacket for monsoons and such. Even my older version was tolerable in light rain and fine in fog. It's an "American fit" so it can accommodate beer belly and heated vest, I can vouch for it in both respects (and in any event I think their sizing is consistent, so whatever size you're wearing in their leather jacket should be a good bet). Price is right
I don't know that the Atomic is truly a four season jacket, it's light weight and really drafty. A decent lightweight windblocker fleece jacket along with a heated vest should get you down into the 50's though.
