all covered under my service plan, got 7 years unlimited miles, and it's more than already paid for itself
i had fun wearing it out though, put in some new stuff and I'll do it again
If you had not had an extended warranty I would have (at this mileage) recommended replacing the clutch and the stator along with the compensator.
I've only had one stator ever to go bad on my '00 UC at 39,000 miles bit it's a PIA getting it to the shop so if you go save some $$$ on labor it's a consideration.
JMHO, but I've never had to replace a compensator and I think it may be due to my starting the bike with the clutch disengaged and I never put my bike in neutral at a light and then "kick it in gear" when the light changes to green.

wouldn't ya know, the incident was described in such a way such as to have included a replacement clutch and stator as well....i've said this many times, but my techs at my dealership are the only good harley techs in the entire world (based on the fact that I only hear ******** here bitch about their techs and dealerships)
the official story is that the compensator failure was catastrophic, causing excessive damage to adjacent and nearby components
35K on my SE and still looks good. However my stator took a dump. Replaced it with a cycle Electric (50amp)
Isn't the primary locking wedge tool not the recommended tool to use? I seem to recall a potential problem whereby one could break the inner primary housing due to the larger sprocket. The primary locking bar is the better choice.
