What? What else could it stand for? It's as universal as the Hawiian peace sign.
White power. Although I think it devolved into that in recent years as a goof. There are righties who think it's funny to troll lefties by throwing up a faux white power sign.
not a lot of courtesy gestures here in the Detroit area.....plenty of the non-courteous variety
down south, I have guilt if I don't wave to someone while passing them by on a back country road, them folks are just friendly and it's the thing to do down there
as for cagers who are looking out, anything I can do to let them know I appreciate them.....like it or not, we are all ambassadors of riders everywhere, a little good will doesn't hurt and keeps us all safer
I almost always acknowledge a kind gesture from a fellow human being, whether it’s when I’m riding, driving, crossing the street, entering an establishment, or what have you.
I will wave when someone is courteous enough to let me turn or go first, also, I go as far as giving a head nod to drivers that approach an intersection as I approach, they have the decency to wait as I pass, these days, ******** are in such a hurry, there's a high probability they will pull out on me, so I give them a head nod...
Happens quite a bit around here , I always nod or give a quick wave just to show my appreciation . To bad it doesn't come close to the other Aholes that don't respect others on the road , whether on a bike or not .
