Just a shout out to all bikers who support these runs. Some advice from seasoned riders. Those of you who think it's ok to tell other bikers how to ride and give "advice" on when and where to fall in line. SHUT UP. No one wants to hear it. Safety officers and the cops who are leap frogging to keep your *** safe amongst cages have already covered that in the pre ride pep talk. Your F.Y.I.'s and "hey you" has no place in these fun runs. There's probably a road captain whose toes you're stepping on also. Just enjoy the ride like everyone else is trying to do. No self appointed dictators are needed. Seriously. Shaddap.
Sorry pal, if you are riding near me and doing some crap that is unsafe or outright dangerous, I'm calling you on it. Been around too many Aholes that think they can ride like jacka**es because the cops are escorting the ride.
And that's why I generally stay away from those big rides.
If you are a guy who people repeatedly give advice to, maybe you need to examine your riding skills. Do yourself a favor and listen to the person giving you advice. They might know a thing or two.

Meh, I steer clear of those big rides. Most of the time we spend most of the ride helping guys pick up their bikes because they forgot to practice slow speed maneuvering. Standing there all red faced, embarrassed, dressed like Jack Sparrow.
If you were confronted by someone, you must have done something egregious to warrant the approach. Otherwise, good morning...
I avoid rides like that with people I do not know for that very reason. Too many unknown variables. At least in a club ride there is trust and structure.

Yesterday out riding I saw grass clippings and thought back to that thread. This is the same person yes. It was good for a few miles of laughs.
