I noticed some decolorized stains on the front-right surface of the saddle and on the right saddlebag, also droplets of oil on oil tank cover. When oil comes closer to scheduled change, it soaks from breather bolts more and gets spread with the wind at high speed.
Do what no on the internet can do, inspect that thing with a flashlight and magnifying glass if need be. You've gotten some good answers here; look hard at the breather, fork caps, front and rear brake MSs, calipers and all the areas around those things. That is the ONLY way you'll solve this mystery.
I have an external breather and a catch can to vent and catch the oil mist. If I run the interstate on hot days the catch can will occasionally spittle oil and it gets as high as the back rest on my tour pack. But I also see it on the rear cylinder head pipe and right side bag. It looks like what you show in your picture.
If you are seeing it in your air filter then its probably crankcase oil from there.
It's still a mystery. I've looked at all the places mentioned and can find no evidence of leaking fluids! I put a white towel around the backrest and rode around 20-25 miles up the interstate. When I stopped the towel was spotless but same spots on rider seat and back seat so whatever it is just soaks into towel and doesn’t leave any stain but the spots on seat don’t go away without cleaning off. Checked the breather again and can't see any evidence of oil blowing.
