How do you clean this up

How do you clean this deposit from your primary cover after riding in the rain?

also how about this bug marks on pipes?

Any suggestions?

Acetone on chrome.
I don’t know what the black finish is, paint? Do not use Acetone on paint.

Just hose it off real good to remove the sand/dirt on the finish before you do anything!! Soap and water should clean the chrome.

Dried on muck after riding in the rain comes off with the pre wash and shampoo I use

Bilt Hamber Touchless pre wash - https://bilthamber.com/product/touch-less/

Any spots after drying I remove with Finish Kare #425 - https://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/finis...slick-polywipe

For the chrome, I use metal polish and #0000 steel wool. Works wonders.
For the black pipes, I can't offer any advice beyond soap & water.

For chrome, 0000 steel wool is great. I agree with previous comments on black parts. Soap and water. Start with the least aggressive you can, and work up slowly. Best of luck!
