Boot Dryers?
Well I got stuck in a crazy *** storm the other day while riding home. I got soaked in less than 3 minutes. Boots got soaked big time. Didnt have rain gear with me as they said it wasnt supposed to rain. Anyway, the boots are still drying out.
I wanted to see if anyone uses boot dryers, and if so any recommendations?

stick newspapers in your boots till morn,,,, soaks up lots of water!

Yeah- many years of backpacking and whatnot- ya don't need the boot dryer. Newspaper might help. Just let them dry by themselves. Snow Seal is a terrific product- it's beeswax that you melt into your boots- makes em very water repellent. It works great on oil tanned leathers, don't use it on Gore tex boots or suede.

I've used my Peet dryer on leather boots many, many times & never seen any ill effects from it. The soles wear out before there is a problem with the leather. This dryer does not use forced air, only a low heat & natural air flow. Boots that are completely soaked are usually dry over night.
