Are you going to get a BMW and then complain about recalls, price, dealer networks and the price of BMW tee-shirts?
All kidding aside, what other brands and models give you the same feeling as a Harley. I've had bikes from KTM, Honda, Yamaha, Triumph, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and none have ever had me go into the garage and just say to myself "Oh Hell Yeah"
BMW, thinking of waiting to see if the new R1300 lands in the RT model along with the lowering suspension. That last part would solve my outstanding issue with that bike. I have owned bikes from Suzuki, Yamaha, BMW, and Harley, and honestly I have never been attached to any of them but I did keep a few for more than a few years. They are just a hobby to me and I can find traits in each that I really like. I have always been blessed with amazing BMW dealers and service and with seven Harley dealerships near me I have at least two with great service departments but honestly I think Harley has the absolute worst sales people. They are in Hyundai/Kia bad territory.

Not going to say it's worth it, but it's a very nice paint job.
Well even loaded up with bags and paint the price isn't out of line with a loaded up BMW GSA so slapping the CVO label didn't result in a price out of line for what you are getting.

This is the truth.

I say it out loud, too. Sometimes loudly.

I do not think so. The culture being displayed in the video is not the America in which I grew up. It is now perverted.

I have to agree with all the above especially some of the HD sales people. Lol I'm new to Harley (last 3yrs) so maybe I'm still in the Honeymoon phase with HD

But if we are looking for Cruisers (not Adv or naked street bikes) what brand over Harley? Indian? BMW? Triumph? Honda? Other?
You need to look a little deeper. ADV is a lot more than just "adventure bikes"

There is no other cruiser that I would buy. It's the sport touring, adventure bikes where I have looked elsewhere. I was the first in my state to get the Pan Am, and probably the first to sell. If it won't get me home, I have no use for it. Harley or not.
