I don't have an 08 Ultra but I know how to bypass it. Do it the Old School way- remove the ABS. The brake will still work but YOU regulate the pressure exerted. Lots of us have been doing that for years.

WHAAATTT?!?! Are you NUTS?! Regulate your own braking pressure?! What's next? Changing your own oil? Riding your motorcycle when you go on a motorcycle trip? Where does it end?

Disapointed Pete: This looks like a decent video, but I haven't watched the whole thing, I can't personally vouch for it:

About twenty years ago, I found a repair facility for all types of modules, online. Maybe they're still in business.
Is there a chance that your module's part # could have been superseded by another one? It seems unlikely that HD would let their bikes become "unserviceable" or "unsafe" in that way.

...but they don't care or won't even touch a bike more than 10years old now, so how are they going to fix it?

...you'd think this being a "safety item", the MOCO would be liable for it for a long time. Ford Motor Co. replaced the air bags in my '06 Mustang & 2011 Ranger just a few years ago.

HD can "fix it" by keeping an appropriate ABS module in stock.

...yeah, that is the correct and right thing to do, but will the reproduce this part?

...in this day and age, if I ever by-passed the anti-lock brakes and went to sell the bike, I'd have it in writing that they are buying a bike with modified ABS brakes and made the owner aware of it.

If they changed the module in some way, they would give it a new part number. The OP didn't say that he couldn't get an ABS module for his bike; he said that he couldn't get one with the "old" part number. Part numbers are always being changed.
