Yeah inflation is a huge issue. I'm stunned every time I get a quote on something these days.

Over the past 8 years I have been accumulating knowledge and tools. I pretty much do everything I possibly can on my bikes these days. That includes full service, handlebars, suspension front and rear, seats, lights and even a complete stereo system.

I am a member of our local HOG chapter and the dealership gives us a 20% off shopping day twice a year. I stock up on fluids, filters, o-rings and gasket seals at a discount.

I am now shopping for a tire changer and a lift. I have a J&S jack and two nice scissor jack's that work well. I'm just getting tired of working from the floor.

Working from the floor ... Yep beginning to feel the effects of being on the floor ... My hips aren't what they used to be and that last shoulder rebuild plays tricks sometimes

Same here. But getting up and down and moving around under a bike or car is not bad exercise. And I could use a right shoulder rebuild soon.

Ever notice in any of my pictures over the years, things are always up on the lift or stand? Hips unionized on me years ago, they don't do floors.
