I been shopping Harley 28 years and can never remember the dealer inventory being this high. I joked with the wife to not be surprise if the dealership bathrooms didn't have a Harley parked in it next visit.
For the first time ever my local dealer had NEW bikes parked outside, in a place that has only held used bikes in the past. I noticed yesterday I could not squeeze past a Fat Boy parked in the way between parts and service... These dealers need to move some bikes!
Then I noticed all the sales folks are all hanging around like a hungry vulture as I guess on all my past visits many of those same sales folks would be working a deal or something and off the sales floor.
Supply = demand , I'm no expert but sitting on this amount of inventory at the end of Summer may not be good for the company but the wife and I are in the market for a bike so I hope it will be good for us!
I just now heard on the news the feds are lowing rates, funny how all that works....

My dealer has 72 2024 touring models on the floor and outside, not to mention the new non-touring models and the used bikes. Its crazy. Ive never seen this many new bikes at this dealership before.
I thought our local dealer did have a pay slot on the urinal until they told me to stop pissing on the vending machine. As I left they mumblesd something about soggy cheetos.
