Hey guys, just wanted to show you this little project. Been riding a corbin for years, leather was starting to separate from the base. instead of getting a new seat I stripped the leather off and had a local guy sew up a custom skin for it. Found some leather that exactly matches the trim color on the bike to use on the sides, and did the surface in tuck and roll pleats. Those corbins are usualy very hard, this adds a 1/2 inch of foam. Just put a thousand or so miles on it touring around Montana.....perfecty comfortable! I will try to get the pics in here.....
If you were to have told me about that seat with the trim color like that, I would never have imagined that would look good. But, I have to admit, upon seeing the pictures, that looks really nice on your bike.
I still have the Corbin passenger seat that came with this one, I think I will cover it too so they will match. Just bought a commercial sewing machine on ebay, going to start doing custom seats myself. I figure all I have to do is practice till I get it down good. Going to start onthe new Dyna....maybe some stripes!

I agree, That seat works with the bike well, Very nice.
