I have a 2019 street glide. I had a thunder Max tuner on it. But through a serious of unfortunate events, it was removed.
I looked into putting cams to get the power back that I had before, but I am overwhelmed. Can someone recommend how I can figure out what I want? I like quick like when the light changes. I'm from 0 to the speed limit, and I do a lot of highway cruising, if that helps for trying to decide what cam I use.
The dealerships are quite vague about trying to assist me with what i want. I guess they are afraid they may recommend something that I do not like.
If you liked it with the Thundermax, why not just buy another one to replace the one that you lost? This doesn't need to be complicated. The thing is, if you change the cam, you're going to need a tuner no matter what...
Take a look at the Fuel Moto dyno sheets. Sounds like you want a "torque" cam so something that makes more torque than HP and does so lower in the RPM range. So you'll want to look for a cam that has a strong torque curve at lower RPM's.

I have a 22 Street Bob and 24 Fatboy and both have a thundermax, redshift 468 cam, ported 55mm aluminum intake, and 5.5 injectors. Thundermax has a specific map for the RS468. Since you have a 2019, I would look at an upgraded oil pump and cam plate.
Performance is very strong and smooth, with lots of torque. Torque comes on low and there is plenty of power at 4K and above. Before I chose a cam, I studied all the dyno charts on Fuel Moto and called Zippers to discuss the RS468. I am very happy with my decision.
I also added a billet compensator ramp and rekluse clutch for worry free hot rodding, plus the required exhaust, air cleaner, lifters, cam bearing, and adjustable push rods.
