I have three of them and didn’t even know about the boost button. Guess I need to look at that.

Beware one thing, if you pack it in your bags, it’s easy for the light button to be depressed inside its little duffle and drain the Noco. I tape a square piece of corrugated cardboard over the side of the charger with buttons.
Bingo. That's happened to me. Where I store it in the F-150, a couple of times the light has been on. It hasn't drained it, but who knows how long the light was on?
I know they sell a hard case to eliminate this. I might have to think about this.
I've used mine a lot, it's never failed to start my vehicle. Car, truck, bike, or boat.

I bought the protective case for mine. It makes it just a little more bulky but protects it really well and provides a place to store accessories with it. (Charger, charging cable, 12V socket, etc.)

It is good to use these ahead of time to learn. I got a few different brands. One I got for christmas that does more than one thing, and you have to have the button on for jumping. Guy at work's car needed a jump. Got to use it. Some have an over ride for really bad batteries. Some you just hook up and it is smart enough to sense battery.

I suspect most want to see a battery and are not just putting out 12 volts for nothing, unless you hit the override.

I have these in most of my vehicles

Speaking of X-mas. This year I bought 2 of these jump boxes for my 2 sons. I told them to practice with them before...
