What a coincidence. Releasing the new models on Nov 3. Releasing 3rd quarter 2025 results Nov 4. I think they need to get investors excited about future sales to overcome the poor 3rd quarter numbers in an attempt to retain stock value.
Honda has had DCT since 2018 on Gold Wings.
Which is not a beginner bike.
Never read one bad word about them from owners.
Low speed maneuvers on a DCT Wing are challenging. After a test ride I chose the 6MT. I guess you would get used to it but requires dragging the rear brake.

Don't the Gold Wings with the DCT have a manual e shift mode like their ATVs do?
A lot of guys I know all over 55 have TC and most have been built a little to a lot. I did have TC and M8 at the same time for 4 years. I now have 3 M8 only. With a 2020 oil pump and up it's very simple, Apples to Apples a M8 will out perform a TC every time. 4 valves to 8 valves, just common sense. But the TC had a better exhaust sound ,personal opinion.
Roger that. My old '07 Heritage 88 with long shots was the second best-sounding bike I've ever owned (2012 1200C with Tab Performance was the best) but my 2020 M8 Heritage 114 is by far the best all-around motorcycle I've had the pleasure of owning. Comfort, power, handling, looks, it's got it all.

Automatic Transmission Incoming . . . Yes I'm Serious. Great For A Beginner Motorcycle
BMW came out with an Automatic transmission this year. They're calling it ACA (Automated Shift Assistant).
It looks like it'll be available on its boxer motors.
To me it sounds like a regular manual transmission that clutches and shifts electronically. It retains a shift lever to manually override it.
