you wouldn't think a tire plug would be appropriate on a motorcycle.
That's interesting when I got a flat from a screw or nail in my front tire I googled can you put a plug in a motorcycle tire expecting it to tell me no.
But the general consensus was if it's in the middle of the tire (not the sidewall) and in the meaty part of the tire (not in a groove) it's okay.
I put another 3,000 miles on it before I replace the tire.

It looks like someone took the drywall screw in anchor design and ran with it. How do you screw it into the tire, a plastic insert with a cross-point pattern, maybe?
