74 and sunny today and I can't ride, cracked a dang rib. Now I can relate to you snow country guys. At least it won't be for months.
Maybe I'll just grin and bear it.

Cracked ribs suck. I had four. Funny thing is, they didn't reset themselves to their original position. Kinda flopped to another position, and I am now crooked on my left side. Hurt like all hell.. Good luck to you. Spring is coming.
I had multiple fractures in all my left ribs and a collapsed lung, after that lady driver came across three lanes, 2 1/2 years ago. I almost missed her! But not quite. 3 weeks later I replaced the totaled bike and started riding again. Riding didn't bother me, but getting in and out of bed sure did.

I'm stuck here in S/C Michigan probably for the rest of my life.
After a couple of heavy wet snow storms and below freezing my driveway is ice covered and treacherous.
When I took out and brought the garbage on Wednesday and Thursday I did so ever so cautiously
I hate to use salt but I may have no choice but to use the sidewalk stuff before Christmas Eve since we have company coming out and we don't need any accidents.
The good news is that we KNOW it won't last too much longer but that time passes by very slowly!
