Default Nightster

Saw one in the flesh last week, looks better in person than pictures.
Comfortable, light bike. I bet it is fun to ride.

I owned a sportster S for a short time, during the covid shutdown, due to not being able to get parts for upgrading my fat bob, and wanted better performance.
Fun bike to ride, sounded like a sewing machine. Only performance complaint was the TQ.
Also test road the S's little brother, the nightster. Fun as well. Same lack of TQ.
Like all other Harleys, terrible stock seats.

There are some pros besides HP. If i recall right, 1 hole for fluids. Very light.

If I didn't own a dyna for my 22 year old son to ride with me, I wouldn't be opposed to owning a nighster.

Not a bad bike. Took one for a test ride a couple years ago and it's a fun little ripper and surprisingly comfortable on the highway. Generally quick when you get on the revs, but not much TQ on the low end.

I had one. Traded it for my Lowrider ST. Have regrets sometimes, then I remember the fuel capacity. It would absolutely smoke my Lowrider.

Meh, I'll take the original Nightster from 2008.
Sharp classic looking bike.

Big mistake for HD to drop this from the lineup. Thanks Jochen. Too bad that it's rare to find one that the owner hasn't screwed up "customizing". They're still out there....just getting rarer by the day.

If they looked good from the other side they may have sold better, it they had a traditional down tube frame they could have probably hid most of that radiator. Those are my only real annoyances with the revolution max bikes... Harley motors need to look good from either side and even Harley knows that these bikes do not

Of all the 2004 and later Evo Sportsters, this is the best looking, followed closely by the 72. None of them look as good as the 2003 and earlier Sportys though.
