I have a 2023 Fat Bob 114 and it shifts like I expect Harley's to shift. Big clunks at idle, requires firm clutch and pedal pressure, you know you're operating a substantial mechanism. I actually like this about HD's and it is still possible to shift quickly, just need a firm hand.
When I test rode some newer ones, particularly the Low Rider S, they seemed to shift more like Yamaha's, such a light pedal pressure you had to watch the gear indicator. Is this something others have noticed, perhaps an engineering shift at Harley Davidson or possibly related to rider modes, which my 23 does NOT have?
