I never have quite figured out how anyone knows you are conceled if you are not flashing it. having carried for years everywhere have never had a problem cause no one knows. first thing these people want to do is brag about their tool, ops mean gun lol. and that's what gets them in trouble.[sm=shootshoot.gif]
After losing an 04 Big Dog Chopper to a scumbag thief this past August, I know that just depending on your insursance to replace your bike or give you a big enough check to replace your bike, an't happening. The Big Dog was bought for $29,650, put $6,000 down and financed the rest. Spent $4,000 cash on add ons. When the bike was stolen, I still owed a little more than $19,000, when State Farm payed me off, they payed the bike off and I got a check for almost $4000. Not much for having lost a bike I valued at $33 or $34,000.
Now God help the person that trys to steal my Ultra!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Formost covers full replacement for first 2 years of new bike ownership. Also covers $2500 of accessories without declaring, and can buy in $1k chunks for additional goodies.
Just something to give you a bit more peace of mind.

I work for a bank. I can't carry here.
I use Progressive and have Arch GAP insurance. After VERY little hassle...Progressive paid the bike in 5 days. Which I find amazing and was very pleased when I got the call saying that they cut the check. Arch...Has taken two weeks, now. They'll send you a claims sheet in the mail. You fill it out and send back to them. The items they list on that sheet are NOT all the items that they need. But you won't find that out until you call and see how the claim is going. No courtesy call here...And since I live in the great state of Tx...They have to make the check out to me AND ESB...so I have to endorse it first before sending it to ESB. Oh...and the local LEO...I got a copy of the police report. Of course it cost me three dollars for one sheet of paper...which is normal....BUT...After having been an investigator for 7 years...I assumed that there would be more info on that report than my name....the time my bike got stolen...the place it was stolen from...the officers name and what kind of bike it was. No officers notes...No investigators notes. Even though it took them nearly 2 weeks to actually close the case. Oh well...Now...Even though my bike is all done...Sitting at the dealer with Vance and Hines Big Shots staggered...Stage 1...and some baubles put on it...And I'm unable to do anything but look at her and drool while I'm waiting for the GAP check...I'm still -very- happy that I had all that insurance to help out.
So, what sounds like a rant is actually a suggestion to ALL that purchase a new bike. GET GAP INSURANCE.
You never know guys...and all it cost me was 400 dollars added to my loan. Oh yeah...and I didn't have to pay deductible. Here's hoping that I get my bike before Christmas...well...at LEAST New Year's.

If you haven't set up your system beyondthe default I belive the code if 7 7 7 7 (mayb e 5 7's. I'm sure someone will pipe in on this if I'm wrong.) I saw a post here just the other day on the procedure on how to disarm it using the code. I'll see if I can find it.
Does your fob not disarm it? I found the double click needs to be pretty fast, other wise it ignores it.
