I have a 2008 1200L when I turn on the ignition switch my left blinker comes on and it want cancel out, unless I turn on my right blinker then the left want come back on, any suggestions? Thanks

I have no idea if this is your fix but the time I had blinker problems came from a fuse that had vibrated loose . It would make contact intermitantly , there was no rhyme or reason to how my signals would behave .

On my 07 UC I had a simular problem. It turned out to be a left turn signal switch that was defective. My dealer has seen this a few times.They say it is either the switch or module.
Let us know what fixes it.

It sounds like the turn signal switch is your problem wether it is a short, pinched wire or a bad contact inside the switch it will have to be taken apart to tell for sure.

Here was my story:
When I turned the ignition on and my leftturn signals flash. I couldnt cancel it with the left button, but I could with the right.Once cancelled,I tried to turn the left signals on and nothing.
I could get the hazzards to work by just holding the right turn signal button in for a second. Then I could cancel the hazzards with just the right button.The only way I could get the left signals to flash at allis to hold the right signal button in (hazards)or turn on the ignition.
It ended up being the left turn signal switch (button). Also a friend of mine had the same thing happen also.............left side. Many stories of left side going out......wonder why?? Do we turn left more than right??
08?? Should be under warrenty, let the dealers mess with it.
