how insulting is it to take a guy's time asking for info and then ignore them because you don't want to spend the money. Do you own a house? did you build your house? did somebody build it for you? Did they use only top shelf materials or home depot crap? Were the contractors licensed/insured or did you try to save money and use some immigrant labor to do it for you ? If you answered yes to any/all of these questions-- you are cheap and stupid!! insight from a proud member of the international brotherhood of electrical workers and a master electrician in multiple states.

And make sure that everyone realizes that you don't even own a damn Harley but yet feel comfortable enough to call anyone else names who might ask questions on a forum.

You don't need to do time to comment....but to comment that you are fed up with whiners on a board that you've only been on for a week is....well.....stupid. If the board sucks so bad...then don't come here.

Problem solved.

just waiting on the 08's. and then i will be ridin not bitchin about how bad my ride is or that no one will wave back. The check is in the bank so i can pay cash. i must admit this forum has some knowelagable people on it but seems to have more whinners thani can understand.. I appreciate the tech input but cant stand the bitchin. Oh i didn't realize that i had to do time to comment. thanksfor the lession in hd forum etiquette.
So, what you are saying is that you don't even own a Harley?? Get your '08 THEN you might have a little credibility. You don't have to do time here to comment but it helps if you actually own one. Also, you do realize you are the one in this thread that is bitching.... about having to listen to people bitch. Your right, it is annoying.

Terry, this is the kind of post that makes it worth wading through all the useless stuff. Thanks for posting it. I have the PCIII and really like it.

Let's see.
Do you own ahouse? Yes.
Holy crap! I'm cheap and stupid.
Did you build your house? No
Phew! I'm not cheap and stupid.
Did somebody build it for you? Well, since I bought a used house, technically - Yes.
Holy crap! Cheap and stupid again.
Were the contractors licensed and insured?Well, since the previous owner built it himself - Techinically - Yes.
C&S again.
Did you use immigrant labor to build it for you? Well, I doubt that the owner was an American Indian, so - Yes.
C&S again.
4 Yes's and 1 No.
I guess that proves I'm cheap and stupid.

Well its like this !
If you buy a power commander they need to be dynoed to be properly tuned. How much it tuning time. Make some changes and you need to dyno it again. The Power Commander is not a true tuner. I've seen cold and wet weather affect them. They are a piggy back system also.
Buy the sert and it needs to be dynoed to be properly tuned. Make changes and not more dyno time. Figure how much that cost.

If you want to go 1st class. go with a real tuner go with a Thundermax with A/T. If you bike don't have bung holes there's a kit for them. With the New TM with Auto tune it tunes as you ride.
http://www.thunder-max.com/

I've had a sert, my buddy has had a power commander and had it dynoed. We both now have TM A/T and will not use one of the other tuners. My buddy had the same dealer dyno his bike with the PC andHad his bike put on the dyno for readings and onthe TM A/T and the lines were the same without no dyno time. He saved 300.00 for dyno time.

Hammer02, I don't think this guy is "cheap and stupid," but I do think he is angry and stupid, and, based on his hidden profile, something of a coward as well. ShredHD, I think maybe you should take your anger and your "master electrician in multiple states" bs (which doesn't qualify you for sh*t in my book) to another venue, where you can really educate all the "cheap and stupid" folks you find there. No one here wants to hear it. Bye now.

Hey Terry. It's been great fun hijacking your thread for a couple of posts. Your informatoin is well written and greatly appreciated. If I had the money, I would put a Race Tuner on my bike with pipes and air filters and all that based on your advice. (Tongue planted firmly in cheek.)
This is a great forum and I have avoided getting into pi$$ing contests up until now but I had a bad day at the office and couldn't resist.
I apologize to you for adding to the pollution of a fine post.

Race tuner list for around 460 and dyno time is 300 or so when I had one. It could change from dealer to dealer.
