S and S gear drive camshaft kit

S and S gear drive camshaft kit

I recently had a s and s gear drive camshaft kit and adj. pushrods installed on my 2005 HD softail deluxe w/fuel injection. Should they have remapped my injectors, it is not running very good. Can i get it remapped at a HD dealership or should i put a PC111 on it?

Yes...if it's FI and you changed the camsto anything bigger than stock your ECMshould have been re-mapped for the new cams...if you get a PCIII you'll want to geta dyno tune...a PCIII with a dyno tune would put your fuel delivery right on the money.

FXSTI Guy id exactly right. I had S&S 510 G's installed in mine earlier this summer and they dyno tuned mine...have power commander. and it runs like a raped ape now.

What did your bike dyno out with the 510G's? And did you do any other work to your bike other than cams when you had the dyno tune?
