No, I did not contradict myself. I said there is a place and a time for speeding. Speeding when others are around puts them at risks.
If your speeding on aroad (state, city, county,or anything that resembles a paved road)chances are that there will be someone around you. You'll be the last person to tell me where my freedom begins or ends.
I know this strip of road well, trust me, no one else was on it.
And your freedom ends when you put others in danger.

No Kolni what is BS is when someone like you makes a statement such as the one you made in your previous post and then turn right around and proclaim that you speed also. But its ok when you do it because you know when the right time and place is and everyone else is an idiot. Kinda like the pot calling the kettle black.
That thinking happens all the time, lordy knows I am guilty of it. There are those lines that we can argue about (like is 75 in a 65 zone safe) and there are examples that the majority of people would agree are unsafe (100 in a residential neighborhood, presumably in a 25 zone). I don't think the fact that I have ever gone over the speed limit means I cannot be upset that someone goes 100 in a residential.
I wish I could say I am never hypocritical, but I can't even come close and I don't think you could either. I just like to think that at least I admit when I am, although I still think I am right
For gods sake. People speed, period. Fact of life, cars, motorcycles, go karts, atv's, mopeds, bicycles, tractors, lawn mowers what ever the ferk a person can get on they will speed. Calling someone an idiot or insinuating that because of their age they just don't know better is just plain ridiculous. You me and every other human that has access to anything Mobile will speed at some point.
What did everyone get tired of arguing about helmets, loud pipes and what the hell a person wear's while ridingget old? Now its speeding.

Kolni, you may have noticed that you get a little more attention from the mods at times. Not to protect you but to protect the other member that may not know about your propensity to cause trouble. However I'm not a regular member and I won't put up with your BS so don't push your luck.
Your not qualified to tell me when and where my freedom begins or ends.

I've never heard of a speeding biker taking out aninnocentbike.
I was riding with one of my friends we had this Azzhole pass us on the right turning on to a side road. This guys front tire was inches from the saddle bags. We went left to let the jerk go by and have some space so he would not hit up.
Oh and this jerk had a Heritage Springer HD with his teenage son on the back.

How does my riding fast ever put anyone other than myself at risk?
If you do it at a race track or a empty road it doesn't. But if you do it in traffic then it puts all the other drivers at risk.
There is a place and time for everything.
Excessive speeding on public roadways is not it.
This statement contradicts itself. First you say speeding on an empty public road is not putting others at risk, then you say "excessive speed on a public roadway" does.
Make up your frickin' mind.
And for all you people who think you have a right to decide if another may exceed the posted speed limit there are several other groups or individuals who think they have the right to force you to wear helmets, certain gear, install only approved pipes, and on, and on, and on.

You're right. I did contradict myself. What I ment to say was that excessive speeding when others are around puts others at risk.
