Being active duty Air Force they require me t wear reflective clothing at nite and universal yellow orange or while during the day. I cant seem to find the orange shirts long sleeved but the main thing i am lookin for is the reflective vest with an id holder on the vest. I dont want to look like a dork and dont want to have to fish for my id every time i go on base i know i have seen some out there but cant remember for the life of me who made them. since i am in the middle east sandbox beach with no water area at this time i would like to at least order one online and have it waitin for me when i get home. Can anyone help me out with a site or name i can search. i put in reflective vest and got a bunch of sites that sell vests that would make me look like i was workin on a road crew. It kinda takes away from that HD look im going for. lol
I've been wearing the Icon Milspec for years now; works great. HD has also just released a copy with a reflective B&S on the back, and the ID holder is vertically-oriented for CAC cards.
thanks for the site and why can you find something with the other services but nothin for the Air Force they must think the Air Force dont ride or something.
here at Redstone Arsenal most use the yellow-green reflective joggers belt. $5 at military clothing sales. it meets DOD requirements. BUT your base has the ability to write their SOP stricter than DOD requirements.
Ditto on the Icon Milspec vest. I work on an Air Force base and run into the same thing. There are two varieties, one is mesh, the other is a solid nylon material. I recommend the mesh one.
