Personally Ive never ran with a revtech............would I .................Hell yes............... . ..I have heard few negative comments about this motor............. ........ ....Ive heard alot of positive comments, about it..........Of course everbody has their opinion......and thats what makes the world go round......... ..........The warranty says it all to me................................Go for it man...............good luck on youre project and keep us posted.......(with pics)....................................LOLIFE... ..............
Here a list with the components used by Revtech fortheir Pandemonium 88"
Big enough to provide good power, yet still kickstart friendly. Every part was hand-picked for quality... first! Bottom to top, from the S&SŽ timing and idler gears to the JIMSŽ pinion, to the Mallory UniliteŽ automatic advance distributor, and back to S&SŽ pistons! Naturally, there is a RevTechŽ crankshaft with heavy-duty connecting rods working in harmony with STDŽ crankcases and heads. The American-made hydraulic tappets were installed in JIMSŽ Big Axle tappet bodies. An AndrewsŽ cam was chosen because of it's perfectly matched design qualities for use in these 88" generator-style engines. Even the Rowe⢠valve guides and AndrewsŽ valve springs and collars, are coddling one-piece RevTechŽ stainless steel valves that were hand-picked for the best quality, best performance and a trouble-free combination.
Are its a good items?
Do you think that it's truly trouble-free with this spec?
Do you know if also the erly Pandemonium used a STD crankcases?
My tech recommends revtech over others like Ultima. Granted, he says you're better off with S&S but a close 2nd is revtech. Considering how much time he has wrenching, I'd buy one.
Did your techwork onthe Pandemonium engine or similar?
Thanks
Any else comment about Pandemonium or other new panhead?......It's really appreciate.
At last I think Revtech Pandemonium has a good parts inside (STD,S&S,Andrews,Mallory,JiM's, ...) the only thinghs made by Revtech are crankshaft, valves, oil pump and I think also the cast iron cylinders.
If you look at the partsseems good, doesn't it?
