Since her husband rides a Honda VTX 1800, having "HARLEY" printed across the back of his jacket would be even lamer.
I feel like an outsider looking in for not knowing the family history. I had no idea her husband rode a Honda, much less that specific model. I know I should have. Thank you for your correction. I hope you will forgive me for my obvious lack of due diligence in this matter[sm=hail.gif].
He won't wear something that says Harley, but he'll wear something that says "Joe Rocket"?!?
Good question. Harley doesn't sound as lame as "Joe Rocket"

I don't know about the Switchback rose, but I have a couple of their jackets that have been kicking around for years and the quality is excellent.
thanks....
Hubby actaully does own an FXRG but that is even overkill (he has the textile one which is heavy and stiff) for most stiuations and he ends up riding around in just the liner[&:]
And your right...Harley can go overboard with the name on the jacket..my switchback has it prominantly across the whole front.. I like these because the "Joe Rocket" logo is fairly small....like I said would't mind one myself.
So even though he owns a Honda, he's still doing his part to support HD...........Good Man you got there
BTW, I said "Switchback".....duhhhhhhhhhh.......I should have said "I don't know about the Super Ego Jacket rose, but......etc, etc" Forgive me?

You're Welcome......and OK
Actually, I don't have my usual sig picture with a picture of the 2 bikes....no reason you should have known unless you've seen me post it before.
Seriously though sometimes I just want to ride without the LOGO. I like my bike but sometimes feel like a Harley dress-up doll[&:]
I have a couple of old school leather jackets. One made by Harley (or whatever 3rd world country that makes them for Harley) but no logos. I don't like Harley emblems running amok. I bought the bike, like the emblem on the tank but I've never like logoed clothing of any kind (Old Navy, Gap, Nike....ok, a little Nike stuff). I see riders with every single bit of clothing covered with HD. To each his or her own.Other than collecting Ts from different dealerships I try to make a statement by not making a statement.
Having said that, I just bought a really nice jacket by Tourmaster. $139 and it has a small logo you can barely see. It has 2 linings including waterproofing, and it has body armor and a little reflecting piping. Got it at a metric supermall and saw all the Joe Rocket, Honda, etc gear and this seemed the least pretentious. And it's warm!
