If You could

If you could take a month or so off work and had the cash or retired (lucky ***'s). What would be your ultimate ride? A ride that you figured would be a once in a life time ride, one that you would probably never get to do again?

Took most of 1981 off. Rode everywhere in the lower 48, saw everyone and everything I wanted to see. Would not trade that for anything. Would do it again in a half-heartbeat.

1. Ocean to Ocean Highway connecting into route 66
2. Follow Louis and Clarke trail.

**** it would matter as long as I could ride and not on any major highway.

I would do the "4 corners" of US, Fl. to Maine, to Wash. to S. Cal.
criss cross the middle!
then I would back track my way home,,, just to bring wife on same trip

Last August I took a trip from Mexico to Alaska via Sturgis. Spent a week in Alaska salmon fishing.On the way back, we followed the Pacific Ocean from Washington to LA, and back to Mexico. The ride was 11000 miles and took a month. It was a great ride. I would like to do a fly and ride to New Zealand and Australia.

I already have plans for when I graduate from high school this year. In early July, my dad and I are going west on I-70 from Denver as far as we can and then down to Paso Robles, California to see some friends. Then east to El Paso and up north to Alamogordo, NM. Then east again to the mississippi River and follow that up to St. Louis. Then west back to denver for two weeks to relax. Then up to Sturgis we go, and take the back roads home. And this definitely wont be the last, hopefully.

I'm taking two weeks this summer to ride to Alaska from Texas. I'm calling it my Alaskapade! I've had several people tell me they're coming with me or meeting me on the road for the ride up. I suspect when the rubber hits the road, it'll be only two wheels worth of rubber. Either way, I'm heading north!
