Leather Jacket with liner zipped in, leather chaps, leather gauntlet glovesthinsulate lined, goggles and rag. Comfortable down to about 30. Went out one night like that it was about 40, crashed at a buddies due to overly large consumption of beverages. Woke up in AM to 10 degrees. That was a cold ride home.
Rode today here in the northeast in the low 40's. In the cold weather I wear my heated jacket liner, heated gloves, flannel lined jeans with poly pro long under underneath and a full face helmet. If it's below 30 I wear a neck gaiter to added warmth.
Gotta watch out for the sand when cornering though. It's everywhere around here.
Basically layer up starting with UnderArmor, good stuff. For colder weather I prefer the textile gear rather than leather, I really like my Joe Rocket Meteor jacket with Thinsilate linerall the way down to about 40 degrees. Full face helmet with silk neck gator, Gortex/insulated socks over silk snow skiing socks in my riding boots. Main issue is to cover up the exposed skin, just like snow skiing.
Leather coat, chaps, leather gloves and face mask. Has worked fine so far this year down to low 40s. I may invest in some heated gloves next winter. Also am considering a modular full face helmet.
Leathers, & jeans, jacket liner, winter gloves. Either a rag or a full-face mask, depending on how cold.Work socks over my regular ones.Something around the neck (my jacket's liner has a neck warmer built in). Electric vest. It's da s**t. All I need is a single, thin sweatshirt and my vest, and it's good for all temps. I hate being packed with a ton of clothes so I can't even turn my head.
Thermal underware, long sleeve shirt, t-shirt, double socks, lined gloves, neck warmer, FF Helmet, Leather jacket and Club (Gypsy) colors,,,Good for me to about 25-30 degrees any colder and i add my chaps...
Rode today here in SD. LL Bean Winter Coat on, and a stocing cap and gloves, was in the 40's. Right after seeing the Chargers wup up on the Colts at their house!!
First time out in 8 weeks..
Go Chargers!!!!!!!
