thats what they want you to believe how a harley works. in reality we all on this site know that there is just a tiny box inside the engine shell that turns gas into loud noise while making as little horsepower as it can for any given situation.
Yeah, CJ, I entered the HD line in the 1950's, with a fire-breathing 165 cc. Harley, and it was still bigger than the HD 125 cc Hummer. Of course, I think the term hummer refers to something else, nowdays..........

You put gas in it.
The VTwin converts gas into loud noise, stink, much vibrations and LOTS of fun.
The vibrations probably cause the bike to move, but the subject is open to debate.[8D]
It's also debatable that a HD has to move at all to be fun.
Many find it lots of fun even when it's absolutely stationary or even spread in its components on the garage floor. [8D]
If they have to explain you how it works, then you can't understand it.
Y'all ever notice people staring at yourmotor at stop lights? They're eitherhypnotized or puzzledby the FLH's rubber mounted motor vibrating in the frame.
