I have a pair of HD and Fox Creek. Wear them both. Depends on the weather. The HD are lined and lighter weight than the Fox Creek. And no, there is nothing gay about wearing chaps!
I was sitting around thinking, you know what would be good. Separation of church and state, in this case, separation of chaps from fingerless gloves in different threads. I'msure its been done already, but I'm too lazy to search for the history. It's kind of like a stock split - twice the bang for the buck.

if you have a Atwoods local they sell highway one brand which are good quality and lined. cost abit more than leather up but you can try them on most sale circulars have a 10-20 percent off coupon.
+1 for leatherup, but you won't get top quality for their prices, but it's the same as you get for cheap at rallies.
It was 29 degrees for my morning ride today and my legs were not cold.
Rodeo guys meaning bull and bronco riders. I know Harleys vibrate a bit, but if your bike handles that badly then I'd recommend chapsfor you too. Oh, and show up at a rodeo withblack leather chapson sometime...see how far that gets ya

I don't get why protecting your lower body with leather is gay? Rodeo guys where chaps, are they gay too?

Chaps, any leather product does a great job blocking wind. If you want to stay warm, chaps ain't the best alternative. There are far better ways to stay warm and enjoy the ride than wearing Chaps. As far as Gay, I wouldn't saythey make you look or are gay, butrather look stupid on 90% of those(men and women)who wear them. Just MHO.
