I like the Cross Bones but make mine with a rounded off rear fender and a tombstone tail light. [sm=biker.gif]

I'd choose the cross bones. The only thing I'd change is the rear fender.

Holy crap, I guess I just came out from under my rock. When I first read this I thought the Cross Bones was a clone or something. I was at the dealership the other day getting some replacement running lights and must have walked right past one. I would like to sit on one and check out the seat.
I do tend to agree with others

Rear fender- might have to go
Front fender and fat tire- might have to go
Name- should go

Love the seat
love the cat's eye type dash
Love the bars but might change them with some wild ones (if I owned one)

I just might have to take a sight seeing trip to the dealership

My Vivid Black FXD over either of them. My bike does not pretend to be something it is not, and there is way more to it than meets the eye.

I didn't see the button for "I don't like either one.", but thats what I would pick.

The Rocker was a bad attempt at a "chopper".Plus Ithink they were a bit too late to really capture the "chopper" thing while it was hot.

These days, it seems like everyone and their brother has now declared themselves to be "old school".Nobody wants a chopper -everyone wants an old school bike. It is the new "in" thing, I guess. So the Cross Bones is going for the "old school" theme. Their timing is better this time - though I think "old school" is just thelatest fashion fad of motorcycles. Old School was cool when you rarely saw an old school themed bike (just like choppers were cool before you started seeing 3 of them parked outside of every Starbucks).

Yes, therehave always been"old school" bikes - before the fad - as there were always choppers before the chopper fad - but I think the latest line up of "old school" will follow the same popularity path as the choppers. Soon you will see "old school" bikes everywhere and people will grow tired of it and then there will be something else on the horizon.

That being said, I too like some old school bikes - particularly Suckerpunch Sallys bobbers or bikes that guys have "old schooled" themselves. But I think the Cross Bones looks awful. That rear fender doesn't belong there. That short truck tire on the front. I guess I prefer a newer looking bike that has some hints of old school "flavor" - the Cross Bones just looks like an old bike, period.

Hey, you asked.

Do you buy a bike because you like it, or to be "cool"?
Just asking...

I agree, the front tire on the crossbones needs to be at least 17" I would perfer 22"
