ORIGINAL: murph

I'm also looking at boots. I have narrowed it down to either cruiserworks or red wing. I can't decide. I do have a red wing dealer in my town.
Everything I've read about Redwing says they are "water resistant". Water resistant is not waterproof.

I've had a lot of different boots over the years, including some HD boots. I happened by the Cruiserworks booth at Bikeweek a few years ago, listened to their presentation andtried a pair The Cruiserwork boot is a ground up engineered motorcycle boot. AND TOTALLY WATERPROOF. I've never added any waterproofing to my Cruiserworks boots and like you I live in Florida. Lots of rain, always dry feet.

I was at TWO in June riding up with TS Barry. Several riders were attempting to dry their boots by campfire. Needless to say my feet were dry.

Go to the nearest army surplus store and try on a pair of high lace upcombat boots.
Can't see you going wrong with them.
