OK guys, riding season has arrived and I am in the market for some new boots. I need boots that not only fit the bill for riding, but boots you can also walk around in after you get to your destination. Let me know what you like and if you know of a good place to order boots include that as well. Thanks for any suggestions
I picked up some Harley boots a few years ago - they're made by Redwing, I believe, and they've been good for me.
Really it makes no difference as to our opinion - YOU need to wear them, so look around.
Ive had several pairs of good boots over the years. Best pair i ever had were john deere engineer boots. Bought the one pair and could never find them again for a decent price.
Recenty, I picked up a pair of harleys new fxrg boots at better than half price. While still expensive, ive found them to be well constructed, wear well, they are waterproof, (big deal for me as i tend to ride in the rain )
While not for everyone they appear to be a good boot.
They are made by wolverine so im certain you could buy them cheaper than harley.
sadly i still have to say my harley boots were the best ones overall. irish setter by redwing got slick after a few months of use, speed & strength boots didn't last worth a squat (made in china) in my hd boots have been going strong for 3 years
In my long due diligence of research I found these Italian made boots. Like anything else a small break in period, but in this case to figure out the exact setting on the clasps. and they are on sale at the moment.
