OK, sombody say it.................................I know you are dying to.......................................I'll help with the words.......................guys, chaps, gay, Homo, Village People, ..........................................
Chaps have been around a long time before the village people, if you had called Jesse James gay because he wore chaps you would have been shot, besides you admitted to wearing them before the new found snow suits. So that makes you gay in your beliefs.
And it doesn't get too cold in L.A. does it? come on out here and ride for 8 hrs in 35 degrees I just rather wearing chaps than a snow suit or some kinda of cold weather work suit. Too uncomfortable and would take too long to get off when trying to stop for a coffee or meal or going into the bar.

Was just quoting the other web site. I did and do wear chaps. As I said in my first post here, the thread got out of hand on the other site. Started just as this one did, then someone dropped the "gay card" and the thread went berserk. Heather saw the trend also. Go back a few posts

I will not get as out of hand here, I think it will go on for a minute though, what a great topic. Never imagined that there was so much to chaps, did not think anything about them when i bought them other than that I can ride longer into the year.
I wear 'em. And...To be completely honest...I don't care -what- people think...As long as I'm warm, that's all that matters to me. Besides...If a guy's sensibilities are offended by seeing a man in chaps...What's offending them? The fact that we're wearing chaps...or the fact that they're LOOKING and it bothers them? The wife likes my a$$ in em...ya never know. Maybe yours will too.

Thats what I say, chicks love guys in chaps Had a table full of them at a pub rubbing on me, trying to get the knot out of the ties in the back of my chaps, they were completely courious about them
I don't really give a damn what others think! I don't ride to satisfy others. I wear chaps (have for about 30 years) until it's so hot I can't stand to wear them (same for the leather jacket). They're convenient, add warmth and they offer protection from road rash. I 'enjoyed' that once; don't want to again! Don't know where the GAY connotation came from, but I think somebody has too much time to kill!
