I just seen a pic of a guy riding with a pair of sneakers and shorts on. Well I dont know about you guys, but I got way too many tattoos on my legs to ride with shorts. It seems that no mater how careful I am I ALWAYS burn the **** out of my right leg....and I got the scars to prove it.
The thing that really ticks me though, is seeing guys riding with sneakers. I dont know why....it shouldn't even warrant a second glance....but it just pisses me off like all get out....and I dont even know why. Hell....I dont even own a pair of sneakers...the only things I wear on my feet are Danner boots....for work, for play...for riding....all the time all year long.
I am sure if I thought about it I could come up with a few more things that **** me off about the way others ride....but its getting late.
To tell ya the truth..i hate wearing boots...hot and awkward..and i have been known to ride with tennis shoes on occasion. That being said, i usually wear boots when riding..just never really feel safe in tennies. Doesn't really make a whole lotta sense considering i don't wear a helmet. To each his own i guess.
When I was 15, I was riding with tennys on and came to a stop sign. Went to put my left foot down and the dam shoe string was wrapped around the shifter lever! Ibusted my *** good. Never have worn them to ride since and always make sure the laces on my boots are high and tight!!
I think I even saw a guy in tennis shoes riding in the HD Crossbones video. Ahh, catering to youth. At least they're shoes and not flip-flops. Saw a guy on a GW two summers back in shorts t-shirt and thongs. (on his feet, not up his crack) I laughed at that, but he was probably cooler than I was while we were stuck in Seattle traffic at 95 degrees.

The way I see it is this is a free country; ride what you want, where you want, dressed however you want. All choices in life have pros and cons, if you weighed them out and made your decision, then you must be prepared to accept the consequenses of your choice. My biggest peeve is when somebody tries toforce their values on me.
Oh boy, I need to stay off your block...or you need to stay off mine cause I will surely **** you off. And I also need to stay out of your shop cause I'm female, and what else??? Make a list now so I know exactly how to annoy you every morning when I ride by.
