Jap cruisers are no quicker than Harleys. The TC88 or 96 will have no problem with the Shadow 1100. Even the VTX 1300 is pretty slow: 13.72 @ 94.5 mph. A TC Harley does the quarter in 13.0-13.5 usually.
i know a 96>88, i meant both of those vs the 1100 jap bike.
and yeah, i know jap bikes are slow, no problem with that, just hoping for a little faster than my buddys shadow ;-)
You will be quicker than your buddys Shadow, atleast with a TC Harley.
I have personally never ridden a Shadow 1100. However, my dad has a Shadow 750 and that engine is so unbelievably slow and boring you almost fall asleep while riding it.
