Default Clutch Slip

Noticed yesterday that the clutch slips a little when I get on it hard... 2002 Deuce, TC88, 5 Speed... No custom mods. Seems to be fine when just tooling around town... Example: Merging into traffic and getting up to slab speed...

Might just need to be adjusted. You didn't say how many miles you've got on the bike or when the last time you did any maintenance. Specifically primary fluid change and clutch cable adjustment.

I would have the dealer check the clutch adjustment.

Make sure the center bolt in the clutch hub gets proper adjustment. Some people think adjusting the cable is all there is to it.

Ya, saw that the forum points to a video of that in the maintenance section... thanks for the heads up though... Sounds like adjustment time....
