RE: Startling information from a fairly reliable source...
Obviously alot of people don't get it. The EPA says these parts must last 5 years or 18,641 miles or the manufacture can replace them at no charge. It has nothing to do woth how long Harley thinks they will last. EPA says they must.
RE: Startling information from a fairly reliable source...
Another "Chicken Little"...these guys crack me up...if you're going to put something out there, name your source and their creds, or it's BS....his Grandpa was probably a "reliable source" back in 1903....
RE: Startling information from a fairly reliable source...
I have no right or wrong view on this topic, purely wanted to relay the information given to me as 'fact' to my so called 'FRIENDS' on this website!
It never ceases to amaze me the amount of idiots that feel real brave behind email to hurl insults at every opportunity.
I have a Harley and a big gun in my wardrobe, so I am a tough guy...yeah right!!
If you have no interest in sharing information then f**k off and stay off this forum.
If you are happy to read what others write and to take it at face value for what it is intended, then stay and post.
I don't know enough about EPA and the requirements in the USA or even UK for that matter...just thought sharing information was interesting.
Guess another point was that if the 'life of the vehicle' is not quoted accurately then the MoCo could be heavily fined; I think some of those reading need a better command of the ENGLISH language!

What part of "state your source and their creds or don't post hearsay" don't you understand? If you're going to post, expect to get some questions and or feedback...
RE: Startling information from a fairly reliable source...
My butchers uncles cousins girlfriend hates Harley Davidsons and said they all suck! Is this true? If so please tell me so I can go buy a Stratoliner POS!
RE: Startling information from a fairly reliable source...
phenyl, you post gossip and don't understand what you are posting. your first give away "from a fairly reliable source" is a trigger. get your wadded up underware out of your crack so you can breath better and clear your head.
By the way, your little threats are just that. Just because I stopped payment on your reality check, doesn't mean your more entitled than anyone else. I am sorry that someone poured chlorox in your gene pool.
