ORIGINAL: cstolp

Ok as I suspected the 5 year 18000 mile is the warranty on the emmissions systems not the bike as a whole.

Here is the document: http://www.epa.gov/otaq/regs/roadbik...arley-pres.pdf

Thanks, cstolp...I appreciate the info...

"Startling" information? I wasn't startled. What's my problem?[]

You're clearly a d*ck head!

I am smart enough to know that HD took the soft option and quoted a minimum life span on the engine in order to just cover themselves. I know these bikes last a long time.

They have to fit emissions parts that last the life of the engine and therefore quote minimums to cover their ***; that's all this boils down to...just thought I'd post something remotely interesting to those on this forum with more than one brain cell...clearly you weren't my target audience!

I'm fine with that...I don't care...I bought my bike and I am very happy with it.

Just sad that people can't read and comment in a civilized manner, I'm not scared of you..my Dads bigger than your dad!

Sounds like as good an excuse as any to buy a new bike!

Questions and feedback are fine...go ahead.

I choose not to quote my source and don't believe anywhere here says that I must, I quoted a statement and asked for other comments...that's it.

Feedback is fine, personal insults are unreasonable.

smells like TROLL, look like TROLL, but I don't know about you but I'm not tasting to find out.

pkenyon,

It is obvious to me that even after I posted a link to the EPA document you didn't bother to read it. That or you didn't understand it, or perhaps you just like playing the part of TROLL?
