Default RE: motorcycle cover

I had two garages when I was up in mainland Japan but when I moved down here to Okinawa, no garages...tried using covers at first but didn't like the fact that the bike still gets dirty/dusty/and even wet from rain bouncing up under the covers.

So I bought the Bike Barn that Ned mentioned above. After looking at the links for the other similiar covers mentioned above, I think the Bike Barn is the best choice. The frame is solid, the material is first class, durable and waterproof, and the whole thing is built/manufactured well. They are pricey but, the benefits include:

- Takes less than 5 seconds to uncover the bike
- Takes less than 5 seconds to cover the bike when done riding
- You don't have to wait for the bike to cool down before covering the bike
- It has vents you can open/close when needed - usually open when the bike is warm, and close afterwards

When I'm done riding and get home, I literally ride my bike right into it, turn off the engine, put the stand down, get off, close the bike barn, open a vent and I'm done - all within a matter of seconds...

As good as a garage - of course not, but the next best thing in my opinion.

I will take some pics of mine and post them later on today.

Default RE: motorcycle cover

As promised, here are the pics of my bike in the Barn. I have the standard cover, and my bike fits in it easy even with the wind shield and sissy bars on. Also tested my friends RK and it fit easy too. Folks with a EG/ultra may need the larger version.

The panel on the side with the words Bike Barn is a vent window you can open - there is one on each side - I usually only open the side near the house...
