Well, Here in good ole Nebraska we finally had a hint of warm weather, It was in the mid 40's and it was beautiful out. I took the bike out for about and hour and it was great and I seenalot of others out riding as well. The bad thing is summer cannot get here soon enough,I really got the itch to get back out.
good for you....i rode abit myself today....tryin out the new TP Rocker boxes....couldnt really tell much of a difference....maybe some, coulda just been the normal air suckin sound of my high compression motor...who knows, it didnt blow up or leak anything...it sure felt good too...time to park the truck
Not too bad in Western Colorado, this afternoon. Howerver, it was snowing this morning and there is just too much pea gravel and such on the roads, that I am going to wait till spring and maybe some rain to wash it and the saltwater (magnesuim chloriide)residue off the roads. Stuff is bad enough on the cars, I would hate to see what it does to the bike.
I got out for a while today too. Dressed in my best "poser" costume kicked over my "hog" and cruised over to the "stealer", dodging "cagers" trying to end my ride pre-maturely all the way. I strutted in like any good "RUB" and checked out all the "moco" accessories I nodded knowingly at the HOG members that were gathered, feeling far superior for being an independent "real biker" and not a "sheep" with an oversized patch or ton of pins on my vest. Ok, Trey, back to earth.
I picked up new headlight for my lady's Lowrider, hoping if I snazz it up some she'll ride more often. Installed that and the new battery today. Bike still runs great even after sitting dead for months. Maybe I'll just customize it for myself. What's a good Lowrider project?
Started my day riding at 48 degrees went to 65 then back to 48. Beautiful day in NC. Did a twisty or two, scraped my road pegs up a bit (dont like them anyway want different ones), and just had in general a wild old time. Ready for spring ehehe.
