So today in Tn it was in the mid 60s perfect day to get out and do some ridin. After the ride I stopped at the local biker bar to have sweet tea and check out the bikes. I pulled up and saw this guy andgirl mackin out and did not think anything of it. Well then 5 min later I heard the crowd (about 50 ppl) go OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH!!!! the bike tips over AHHHHHHHH the bike hits the ground (so does billy bad##s). The bike is on of thoes BIG DOGS. The guy was so drunk I dont even think he cared. So then his buddies walked him away and the crowed started cheering WOOOO HOOO. Any way I have no problems with drinking I just choose to drink sweet tea when I am scootin around. Just be careful IT AINT WORTH IT! I aint preachin but 2 wheeks are alot squirrler than four.
Ride safe
Oh I think the girl was trying to get him away from the bike.
I hear ya. I parked down in Daytona today and started off with a beer. Six hours, a decent amount of sun, a lemonade and two Coca-colas later I figured I was pretty safe.
For what it's worth, while I saw several people drinking, I didn't see anyone noticibly drunk and riding. Turned out to be a good day.
All of you be careful out there!
Im the one guy in our "group" that doesnt drink.. I get roughly 4 or 5 calls a year from buddies wives down the road at the bar... Made plenty of trips walkin down there & riding back.. Sometimes it takes alittle to get the keys from them, but they trust me..The bar owner even has my # for just incase the wives arent around... Kinda nice gettin a ride test ride, thats how I knew I wanted a fatboy

That's cool...if you've kept one guy from gettin' hurt it's worth it...friends don't let friends....
The really sad thing about that situation is for Darwin to work, it will most likely involve an innocent person getting hurt. Otherwise I would let him reap the benefits of hisventures.
I love to drink don't get me wrong but i don't mix the two (bike and beer) if i pull in to a bar and i know iam going to eat there i will have one drink before my meal eat and then pop or something.
One that i always wonder how more don't get hurt is your bike nights dam **** load of bikes everyone walking around with beer in there hands for hours and hours and then they all leave some lucky boys out there.
Even cpl guys i work with that go down to bike night have come in the next day and iam like how late you stay ahhhhh till about 2am dam your nuts how the hell you get home i rode man i was wasted. I told him dum *** lucky you made it.
I aint preaching and i am no saint either just be careful all iam saying.

You'd think by all the spelling mistakes that your 'sweet tea' was spiked with something a little stronger, like vodka! OhioSkully, I think your 'pop' must actually be a 'Rum and pop' based on your spelling and grammar as well!
Sorry but that was hard to resist. Both of you are preaching to not drink and ride (which I am totally with you on!), but then are talking on here like you had tipped back a few too many!
#1 Some people can't handle even 1 beer w/out having problems.
#2 some people can't ride worth a sh$t to start with.
#3 you have to know your own limits.
Just my.02, and it's worth .0002.
