Is anything you ever buy from the stealership ever right the first time?? I have bought things countless times from the stealerships, like parts and get them home and have them F'd up or missing parts. I guess I should learn to inspect everything before leaving with it now days but nope, once again I bought my black lowers and uppers for the front end of 08 SG and one can of the upper was jacked up and one fork leg was screwed up. Both of these items had to be ordered, neither were in stock and I picked them up the day they came in off the truck so I doubt it was the dealership that messed them up but its always something.
Damn you Kolni! lol. Btw I was able to get new uppers right away but when I called my dealer about the lowers he said none are in and he can order them so I explained the situation and he said he would track some more down for me but it was 1830 and to late to start calling other dealers. Um....to late? So i called a couple dealers and found them in less then 10 minutes. Just delayed me getting my new forks on by a day no biggie.
Why would you torment yourself by going to someplace called a stealership? Just the name alone would keep me away from the place. I just don't understand how someone can feel that way about a place of business and still shop there. My dealership has always been right. So there.
I've not had any problems from Harley, butI understand exactly where you are coming from. We've all had those experiences at one time or another. Car parts places have been a problem for me. I live about 10 miles out of town and it can be a real pain in the a** todrive all the wayhome and have a part that won't fit.
